YARD OF THE MONTH
Yard of the Month
The Owasso Bouquet of Gardeners has announced the August Yard of the Month. This honor belongs to Derek and Carly Rowan whose home is located in the Key Landing neighborhood, just south of 76th Street N. They frequently tend to their yard with their son, Noah.
They are pleased with their October Glory Maple and White Redbud and Oak trees. They also maintain holly bushes, hostas, liriopes and crape myrtles. Other flowers and plants are spread across their spacious property.
Yard of the Month
July-August 2022 Yard of the Month was awarded to the Owasso Public Library, planted and maintained by the ladies of the Owasso Bouquet of Gardeners. They have been beautifying the library and other city sites since 1998.
Trees have ben planted in memory of departed members of the club. The club bought and had erected a Timmy and Cindy statue by the entrance of the library.. The ladies meet regularly to weed, trim ad fertilize the many plants and shrubs surrounding the buildiing. Annuals are planted in spring and fall to add to the many colors of flowering plants.
