VISITORS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME!

The October meeting of our garden club will be Tuesday, October 28 at noon at the Central Baptist Church meeting room 400. (9001 N 1435th E Ave)

Our meeting this month won't feature a speaker as usual, but will have our members share their gardening tips that have succeeded for them in the past. We will also introduce our new members (we have had quite a few in the last six months).  Come join us and get to know our group. Refreshments will follow our sharing time, and we will hold our usual business meeting afterwards.

Our club meets the fourth Tuesday of every month.

We welcome visitors and new members at any time! New members' dues are $24.00/year, an investment in garden tips, friendship and community involvement. Visitors are invited to visit twice then become members for future meetings.

Zion plans on a career in early childhood education and will begin her college education at Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa on a wrestling scholarship. She enjoys time with family and hanging out with friends.

She is pictured here with our scholarship chair, Jan English, who arranged for her to attend ourJune meeting.

Charlie and Marjean Cole moved to Owasso in 2021 to be near family. They chose Oakridge at Cooper Ranch because of its tree-lined streets and large lots. She was a previous member of a garden club and worked with a landscaper to design the exact yard she wanted. Their design included a circular drive, a pool, a pickleball court and a fire pit. They now get to enjoy the results of their planning--this lovely beautifully landscaped yard.

The Owasso Bouquet of Gardeners has named the Yard of the Month for July 2025. It is the yard of the home of Mark and Debbie Green whose home is located just north of 86th St N. We have honored the Greens before but they have added so much in the past 10 years that they deserved a second look. Their yard sports pergolas, lattices, fountains, custom walkways and lots of perennials, along with brightly colored annuals. Congratulations to the Greens for an outstanding yard.
